There is a choice of grades and total flexibilty on arrival and departure dates. Available in both the Alicante mountains and the Matarranya region of Aragon.

Walking can cover the following areas of the Alicante and Valencia mountains;
La Marina Alta and its villages of Castell de Castells, Abdet and Guadalest; El Comtat based around the local market town of Cocentaina. These areas are also known as the “Valls de la Marina” cover the walking routes of Sierra Aitana, Sierra Mariola, Sierra Serrella, Vall de Gallinera, Vall de Guadalest, Vall de Laguart, Sierra Benicadell and Sierra Safor.
Alicante airport offers excellent low cost flight access to most UK regional airports, most major European airports and good connections for long haul flights.

Following our first exceptional birding week in April 2007 accompanied by BBC Radio 4 wildlife presenter and producer Brett Westwood.
You can also listen to a BBC Radio 4 programme presented by Brett Westwood on Bonelli’s eagles whilst visiting us in the mountains of Alicante a few years ago. This programme was from a series called “Behind the Taverna” and was broadcast as programme 2 in the series.
The mountain ranges in the south of the Valencia and north of Alicante provinces are home to some of the most varied flora to be found in Europe.
Over 400 species of flora specific to the region are to be found here including a large number of orchids and many rare and threatened species. During the peak season of March to May you can join one of walking holidays specifically aimed at seeing and enjoying the best of the regions flora accompanied by knowledgeable guides.
